Parenting Book Recommendations

Raising children is one of our most important and difficult jobs. Few of us have studied parenting methods, and sometimes we feel ill-prepared and overwhelmed by the task. Parenting books can help us understand our children so that we can nurture their growth into healthy, happy, and independent adults. There are many excellent books on the topic and the list below is by no means comprehensive. These titles are in no specific order.

“Gingerbread house is an amazing preschool program! The teachers are not only highly qualified and experienced, they are also caring and patient with the little ones in their care. My three children had a fantastic experience there over the last five years. They have a play-based learning philosophy (no worksheets!) and a terrific 1:6 teacher:student ratio. I will miss the school and the staff now that the kids are in elementary school.”
